There are multiple IPTs supported by this contract. NAVAIRSYSCOM (PMA275), V-22 Joint Program Office functions as Product Team Leadership for the V-22 Operator and Maintenance Training System procurement teams, trainer logistics verification, and training design analysis. PMA275 is tasked to provide training products that facilitate optimized operator and maintainer training, focusing on strategic planning, hardware/software commonality and concurrency between aircraft and training devices, introduction of new training concepts and incorporation of emerging technologies into the V-22 Training System. Contractor support is required to support the development efforts, provide product review to include technical, financial and programmatic analysis/procurements, as well as product implementation support for the V-22 Training System.

The V-22 Osprey is an ACAT-ID Joint Program led by the Department of the Navy for the purpose of developing, testing, evaluating, procuring and fielding a tilt rotor, vertical takeoff and landing aircraft for Joint Service application. The V-22 will replace the CH-46E and CH53A/D in the Marine Corps with the MV-22; the CV 22 aircraft will provide the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) a tilt-rotor aircraft capable of performing long-range Special Operations Forces (SOF) missions. To provide training for aircrew and maintenance personnel, the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIRSYSCOM), Patuxent River, MD, will utilize an integrated systems approach to develop and implement tactically relevant, war fighter focused training in the most cost effective manner possible.
