Title: Application Developer Level I
Location: Atlanta, GA
Description: The web developer will work with other application developers, and team members in the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of quality software component modules and feature enhancements for application systems. The web developer will be responsible for the design and development of the workflow UI web-based development part of projects. The web developer will have the ability to create excellent looking browser-based user interfaces and UI workflow webbased solutions from the requirements stage to deployment onto the production web environment. The web developer will participate in object oriented design and using known development patterns and agile software development processes.
Required Education: Required Skills & Abilities: 1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems or 6+ years experience.
Required Experience: Desired Skills & Abilities: 1. Successful track record in designing and implementing web applications using Java, Spring, Spring MVC and rules engines. 2. Experience integrating applications and designing and developing web services and frameworks. Extensive front and back end experience required. 3. Outstanding oral and written communication skills and experience working directly with end users to understand and translate requirements to design. 4. Demonstrated ability to evaluate new and emerging technologies and vendor products and to constructively apply them to meet identified business and technology goals. 5. Ability to work in a team environment 6. Demonstrated ability to think strategically and realize those strategies in application design.
