Title: Senior Engineering Analysts (3 Positions)

Description: Senior Engineering Analysts apply technical issue resolution, logistics, system quality / supplier management, and related risk / impact assessment for Fixed Wing Assets. Assist Customs and Border Protection, Air and Marine National Aviation Maintenance Contract COTR as necessary. Work independently as needed, in technical and program schedule analysis, acquisition, maintenance and fleet operational processes. Utilize source document databases and periodic inspection reports in developing discrepancy reports. Ensure aircraft, aeronautical, and support equipment component configurations are correct and that all essential modifications have been incorporated. Assist with contract compliance for equipment repair, maintenance, upgrade, delivery, spares inventory, manpower, ground support, and training. Study and forecast future tooling and budget postures. Review Aircraft Configuration Change Requests for all Fixed-Wing and Rotary wing aircraft and make recommendations based on the needs of the program. Assist acquisitions department with maintenance needs of proposed aircraft through research.
Required Education:
Required Experience: • The contractor must be able to provide specialized technical Subject Matter Expertise essential to CBP OAM’s National Aviation Maintenance Program. • Must have at least 12 years on General Maintenance and Aviation Maintenance hands on experience in CBP fixed and rotary wing assets or similar DOD fixed and rotary wing assets. • Must have the experience in : o Providing technical and program schedule analysis, acquisition, maintenance and fleet operational processes. o Utilizing source document databases and periodic inspection reports in developing discrepancy reports. o Ensuring aircraft, aeronautical, and support equipment component configurations are correct and that all essential modifications have been incorporated. o Assisting Program Managers or Contracting Officer Technical Representatives (COTRs) with contract compliance for equipment repair, maintenance, upgrade, delivery, spares inventory, manpower, ground support, and training for all CBP OAM aircrafts or similar. o Studying and forecasting future tooling and budget postures. o Reviewing Aircraft Configuration Change Requests for Fixed-Wing aircraft and make recommendations based on the needs of the program. o Assisting acquisitions department with maintenance needs of proposed aircraft through research.
