Title: Information Security Program Analyst

Description: This position will participate in ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems, networks, and data through: • Planning • Requirements • Development • Implementation • Sustainment In addition, this role must support the enhancement of information security programs, policies, procedures, and tools (both open source and commercial) as they specifically apply to security operations (threat intelligence, intelligence driven detection, response, and remediation of cyber security incidents that affect the Department). This position requires the personnel to present operation status and incident response outcomes to Department executives and managers. This position will have the following key responsibilities: Evaluation; Acquirement, configuration, and software usage intended to gather intelligence, detect abnormalities in systems and networks, investigate abnormalities; determine if they are cyber events or incidents, and; respond to those incidents and work with organizations and users to remediate the incidents. The contract shall manage the lifecycle of the security operations project from concept development through implementation. He/ she will Identify customer requirements, develop technical approaches, and coordinate project resources related to project costs and schedules and advancing process maturity to align with technology. The Contractor shall perform or participate in a range of cybersecurity incident management activities that extend or apply to an entire organization or major components of an organization. IT management activities include: strategic planning, capital planning and investment control, workforce planning, policy and standards development, resource management, knowledge management, architecture and infrastructure planning and management, auditing, and information security management. The Contractor will plan, develop, and implement systems and IT policy changes.Job Duties and Responsibilities • Must be able to provide specialized technical Subject Matter Expertise essential to CBP’s technology programs. • Must have expertise in computer technology and its application to aircraft systems • Must be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office; Word, Power Point, Excel, Publisher (including Access databases) and Windows • Must have in depth experience working with multiple computer information systems and record keeping systems. • Must possess strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills. • Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas: – Computer hardware and software systems and programs – Computer networks, network administration and network installation – Computer troubleshooting – Computer viruses and security – E-mail and internet programs • Ability to install and administer computer hardware, software and networks • Team building skills • Analytical and problem solving skills • Sound decision making skills, effective verbal, presentation and listening communications skills • Extremely proficient in all Microsoft Office software
Required Education: • BS in IT or AA with 8 years of experience
